EVENT INFO
In response to the recent contemporary art show at the Yale University Art Gallery, Continuous Present, Present Continuous is a two part event series encouraging dialogue and collaboration across disciplines. Present Continuous aims to create a venue for collaboration that allows for and celebrates both combination and contradiction.
Part I: November 17, 2009 7.00 PM
We encourage musicians, writers, artists, architects, and performers to upload and share their work on the website: www.presentcontinuous.net
On November 17th, we will host an informal gathering inviting those interested to share and discuss their work at the Yale School of Art Graphic Design Atrium. At this event, we hope you will find someone to collaborate with who is outside of your discipline with the goal of presenting the result of this collaboration in Part II.
Part II: March 4, 2010
As part of the YUAG evening series, we will host a curated event featuring these collaborative works at the Yale University Art Gallery. We encourage performance, sound, video, readings, and any other works that can be experienced in the present moment.
